An ongoing activity of the Manassas Chapter is the collection of signatures for our Petition. The Petition addresses the lack of a Confederate Heritage Month Proclamation by the Prince William County Supervisors. Look for Chapter members around the County for your chance to add you name to our growing Petition. <

The Manassas Confederate Memorial Committee, is proud to announce the first annual Manassas Confederate Memorial Ceremony. The Ceremony will take place at the Manassas Cemetery on May 23 located on Center Street in Old Town Manassas to honor and remember not only all the soldiers who fought for the Confederacy, but in particular those that fought for and defended the Commonwealth of Virginia. The event will start at 3:00 P.M. and will include speakers, music, and the placing of wreaths at the Confederate monument. The Major General Fitzhugh Lee SCV Camp will provide the Color Guard unit.
